Facilities and Resources
Teaching and Office Space
The institute is located on the 4th floor of the Social Sciences Building (both the north and south wings) at National Cheng Kung University. The total space covers approximately 1,552 square meters and includes one director’s office, one administrative office, ten faculty offices, one office for adjunct professors, one postdoctoral researcher office, and three research assistant offices. In addition, there are seminar rooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, graduate student offices for both master’s and doctoral students, as well as individual and group counseling rooms.
Library Resources
The institute has acquired more than 200 domestic and international journals in the field of education, along with over 13,000 Chinese and Western-language books. These resources are centrally managed and housed in the university’s main library.
Computer Facilities
In addition to the resources provided by the university’s computing center, the institute is equipped with over 70 desktop computers, 5 laptops, 16 laser printers, and 3 color inkjet printers to support administrative work, research, and teaching. Equipment is regularly updated and expanded.
Instructional Equipment
Teaching equipment includes five digital lecterns, five LCD projectors, two video recorders/players, two digital cameras, two video cameras, two audio amplification systems, and two photocopiers. The institute also maintains over 100 instructional video materials and computer-assisted learning CDs.
